About me

I am a passionate and experienced primary school teacher with over 6 years of experience teaching across KS1 and KS2, alongside several years of private tutoring in Maths and English. I specialise in creating engaging, supportive, and personalised lessons that help children build confidence and achieve their full potential. I have extensive experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation, 11+ preparation, reading, phonics, spelling, writing, and maths skills. I also have strong experience working with children with SEND, EAL learners, and pupils who may need additional emotional or behavioural support. As a qualified teacher with a PGCE and Master’s degree in Positive Behaviour Approaches in Schools, I understand that every child learns differently. My lessons are tailored to each learner’s individual needs, using interactive and creative approaches to make learning enjoyable and effective. I pride myself on building positive relationships with both pupils and parents, creating a calm and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and developing independence. My goal is not only to improve academic progress, but also to help children grow in confidence and enjoy learning.
